Lash Op Co, LLC dba Performance Beauty Group (PBG) is a Private Equity owned holding company that invests in cosmetic brands with a focus on eye and color cosmetics. PBG invests in these brands to facilitate their growth in the Direct to Consumer (DTC), Retail and Distributor channels both in the domestic and international markets. As part of that strategy PBG is building out the marketing, operational and supply chain functions of the organization to facilitate fast growth and operational excellence.

Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and measuring Lilly Lashes social media initiatives in partnership with the Social Media Manager and our broader marketing team. They will provide support with influencer contracting and utilize all content efficiently and in a timely manner, to increase brand awareness and elevate all owned and operated brand channels.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain social media editorial calendar for all social channels in alignment with marketing KPIs, launch calendar and marketing campaigns
  • Schedule and publish content to social media channels across different platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter
  • Ideate and create engaging, ahead-of-trend content in partnership with creative team
  • Manage UGC Content Program for brand, including talent sourcing, outreach, negotiation and signing of influencers
  • Develop recommendations informed by consumer insights and industry landscape
  • Perform competitive analysis, industry research and assessment of best practices for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social channels in an ever-evolving landscape
  • Participate in the conceptualization and strategy of social media campaigns, utilizing social media know-how to drive growth and engagement
  • Manage and coordinate live video schedule, including Instagram Live, overseeing rehearsals and set-up, and hosting as needed
  • Maintain giveaway calendar and coordinate co-branded giveaways
  • Harvest data for reporting and support social media team in preparing and delivering reporting to internal and external teams
  • Assist with photoshoot support and needs and planning for beauty looks

Experience/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or field relevant to Beauty Marketing
  • 2-3+ years prior social media planning and content creation experience
  • Fundamental understanding of various social media and influencer tools such as TribeDynamics, Grin, Dash Hudson
  • Experience in planning social and creating content in-house for brand
  • Good eye for photography and design; experience in video editing
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail and follow through, able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Art in Business or related field

Travel and Hours

  • This is a full-time  position based in Frisco, Texas
  • Hybrid position requires time in office a minimum of 3 days each week
  • Legally able to work in the United States
